Everest 1993

Photos from my trek in Everest region in 1993. Jiri-Kala Pattar.
This is the hardest of all my treks, so far. Due to heavy back pack and crossing of several
rivers and passes while trekking eastwards from Jiri. Also the high altitudes up at Lobuche
and the final goal of Kala Pattar, 5600 m, was strenous.

931015, day 7. Sallung-Nuntala<br />
From Sallung at 2980 m we head down to Beni khola at 2600 m, passes Ringmo at 2700 m, crossing Trakshindo pass at 3071 m before descending to Nuntala at 2350 m.<br />
Our ascending/descending in an west- eastwards direction have now come to its end.<br />
From now on we are heading north in to the Khumbu region.
